Yoga therapy takes a whole-person approach. Rather than separating the mind from the body, we explore the ways your thoughts, physical experiences, energy, habits, relationships, and environment continually influence one another.

Together, we may explore sleep, daily rhythms, physical pain or tension, relationships, connection to your body, patterns of thought, stress, energy, and the habits that shape your everyday life. We also pay attention to the quality and direction of your thoughts. Are the beliefs and patterns you're carrying supporting the life you want to create, or  pulling you away from it?

Yoga also offers a rich framework for understanding balance through the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether. We can use this framework as a lens for noticing what may feel excessive, depleted, stagnant, or out of balance within your life.

What To Expect

Our work may include mindfulness, meditation, conversation, breathwork, embodied practices, energy work, daily practices, intuitive guidance, and simple shifts in routine. Nothing is prescribed simply because it is a traditional yoga practice. We work with what is relevant to you and what can realistically become part of your life.

At the heart of this work is the belief that your body is sacred, it holds your memories, dreams, wishes, fears, trauma, hopes. When we work with the body, mind and soul in unison healing becomes not only possible but probable

You don't have to force yourself into balance. Sometimes, you simply need the space, tools, and awareness to begin listening to what your whole system has been telling you.

This is an invitation to come back into relationship with yourself, one breath, one practice, and one choice at a time
